Focus on Teamwork
Being at university is as much about developing your skills as it is about gaining qualifications. This highly interactive student conference will enable you to consider a range of approaches to good teamworking, which will be relevant to both your student learning experience and your professional lives beyond University

The conference was organised by the combined Leeds CETLs and offered as part of the Leeds University Union (LUU) Give it a Go programme.
3 March 2008 - Leeds, Life and Learning Student Conference
The Leeds, Life and Learning Student Conference opened by Professor Viv Jones (PVC for Learning and Teaching) was a great success. Nearly 100 students attended the conference which offered workshops and sessions to help students develop skills to better their learning experience and improve their employability.
Leeds CETLs offered four workshops designed to develop the following skills:
- Creativity and Enterprise
- Ethical thinking and decision making
- Interpersonal and listening
- Technology competence in a digital age
